Except its a 1 second cast which means u cant reflex anything under a 1.5 second cast (give or take) and has the chance to not interupt it. Thats similar to running the old incendiary arrows on a shortbow with an IAS. not really worth it.

if there weren't skills as bad as quick shot in guild wars there wouldn't be any good skills by comparison. there would also be one less way for good players to have an edge over bad players (that is, in recognizing the badness of quick shot and not using it).
m:tg used the same ideas when they designed cards that were strictly inferior to others - i liked m:tg so if it worked for them it works for gw?

If math serves correctly, that's a 76% chance to land a critical hit. Spamming QS means that you should interrupt 3 out of 4 times. Random interrupts aren't that great compared to timed interrupts.

Quick shot acutally has 1/2 second activation like all the 1 second bow attacks, same as interrupts which say 1/2 second, but have 1/4 second activation.

Has been a description error for as long as I can remember.

That is one thing i've been wondering about. Unless the monster\boss\player has a key skill that takes over 1 1\2 second to cast, you (or at least i) will have problems interrupting it. If you use a flatbow or shortbow, and a skill that gives +33% IAS, that is one arrow every 1.3 seconds.. add d-shot on top of that, i think that's a very efficient interrupter

You'll need a firey bow for that to work correctly though, or you have to take out [ignite arrows] for [kindle arrows].

4 line attribute spread weaks the build IMO

I was messing around dropping the Conjur and taking [By Ural's Hammer] and [Enduring Harmony] You can't put any points into Leadership so it doesn't matter. Allows you to stack up Marks, Exp and WS better. Well in PvE atleast.

There is no need of an IAS in a quick shot build, the skill itself determins your refire rate.

quickshot's been pointless ever since random bow attacks got the 1s cast treatment. not to mention, it gets completely eclipsed by needling shot.

[quick shot] is used to create a cheap, fast recharging [dual shot]
just fire a regular arrow, then immediatly use [quick shot], so the arrows hit (nearly) at the same time
